The EPT London Main Event is by far the biggest poker tournament in London, England. The EPT stands for the European Poker Tour and this is a series of poker tournaments that are broadcast on television. The EPT has tournaments all across Europe and is a premier poker tournament.
The total prize pool of this event was a huge amount that totaled £4,112,800 ($6.5 Million). David Vamplew walked away with a staggering £900,000 ($1.4 Million). The event brought a total of 848 participants with each person putting down £5,250 as an entrance fee. Some other people were able to enter the tournament through satellite tournaments that were held on PokerStars.
