Rumors have been swirling in the online poker world that UB Poker is about to sign online poker superstar Prahlad Friedman. Just the other week UB announced that Annie Duke & Phil Hellmuth were both leaving team UB. This would be a great pickup to sign Friedman since he has a cult like following in the online poker world. PokerStars professional Daniel Negreanu was the one to break the news when he bashed Friedman in one of his twitter updates. It is no secret that Negreanu looks badly on UB Poker because of the entire cheating scandal that took place a few years ago.
UPDATE: As of 1/6/11 UB Poker has officially announced Prahlad Friedman is now a part of Team UB Poker.
