Full Tilt Poker is bringing back the popular Black Card. When Full Tilt Poker relaunched late last year one of the big items not part of the relaunch was the Black Card. That is no longer the case as it will be back. The Black Card loyalty program was hands down one of the best overall values for serious poker players when you factor in software, rakeback & promotions.
Along with the relaunch of the Black Card, Full Tilt Poker will be also offering a VIP Amnesty to all players throughout the month of April. That means if your playing on another site and have a certain VIP level if you decide to switch to Full Tilt Poker they will give you an equivalent status immediately.
Members taking advantage of the Black Card this July will also be able to earn 6 month sponsorship contracts from Full Tilt Poker. The contracts will last for 6 months and at the end of the 6 month time-frame they will be transferred to players with the best overall results for the previous 6 month period.

DUBLIN – March 27, 2013 – Full Tilt Poker will relaunch the popular Black Card loyalty program for players and is offering incentives for VIPs at other sites to transfer their status to Full Tilt Poker. Through this unique program, Black Card members will be able to convert all earned Full Tilt Points to cash instantly at full value, with no earn-off bonus, no play-through requirements. Depending on what and when players play, this can equate to up to 40% instant cash back every week.
Black Card members will also be able to opt into the first ever results-based sponsorship program – designed by poker players, for poker players.
Launching this July, Full Tilt Poker will be offering a range of sponsorship contracts to the best players (by performance) in a spread of disciplines including, but not limited to, cash games, Sit and Gos and tournaments. Every six months, these contracts will transfer to the players with the best results over the previous six months.
“Over the next few weeks we will be reaching out to the poker community to help us design these performance metrics”, said Sarne Lightman, Head of Marketing at Full Tilt Poker. “We want the players who will be competing for sponsorship to design the measurement systems for their performance, and we will then reward the best players.”
Full Tilt Poker is also offering a ‘VIP Amnesty’ to all poker players throughout April, giving players the opportunity to seamlessly apply the status they’ve earned on other sites toward the equivalent status under the Full Tilt Poker loyalty program.
“We understand that players have put many hours, weeks and sometimes months into earning their VIP status on other sites while unable to play on Full Tilt Poker.” said Lightman. “The amnesty will allow them to trial our Edge Rewards and Black Card programs at the equivalent level and see for themselves the superior benefits their play level offers at Full Tilt Poker.”
To transfer to Full Tilt Poker’s Edge Rewards program, all you need to do is send photographic evidence of your VIP status on your current site, (screenshot from the client with site username visible) to [email protected], along with your Full Tilt Poker user name. Your Full Tilt Poker account will then be upgraded to the equivalent Edge status. Maintain the requisite play levels and once the Black Card level is live, you will be also be upgraded once more to Black Card member status, where you will receive all the benefits of the program.
In addition to all these innovative benefits and rewards, if you maintain Black Card status for three months you’ll also receive the exclusive ‘Black Card’ itself to mark your achievement.
