Deuce to Seven Rules

Deuce to Seven is a variation of Lowball Poker, where the lowest (worst) hand actually wins the game.

Aces are always counted as high cards, and “Straights” and “Flushes” actually count against you; hurting the value of your poker hand. The best (lowest) possible hand would actually be: 2-3-4-5-7 unsuited.

DEUCE TO SEVEN POKER RULES

• Five cards are dealt to each player, and a betting round is done clock-wise starting with the first player left of the big blind, where they may check, fold or raise (at least the same amount as the big blind).
• After the round, each player may discard the cards he or she wants replaced or they may keep them, known as “Standing pat”.
• Once the dealer has replaced your cards, there will be another betting round.
• The players once again may swap out their cards, following a third betting round.
• With a final swap of cards, we get to the fourth and final betting round, where the players still left will show their cards to declare the winner.
