The European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague Poker Festival is set to take place this year from December 8th to the 18th. It will be hosted at the Hilton Prague which is located in beautiful Czech Republic.
This years EPT Prague is set to be one of the biggest ever as over 200 players have already won their EPT & Eureka Poker Tour Main Event seats online at PokerStars.com.
The online qualifiers which gain the player a seat at the €1,100 Eureka Poker Tour Main Event have increased three-fold year over year.
The Prague Poker Festival is the third stop of Season 10 of the EPT and for the second year in a row is incorporating the Eureka Poker Tour Grand Final which is going on its third year.
The EPT Prague Poker Festival is 11 days of a total of 47 poker events which run across a wide range of games and buy-in levels. In 2012 the EPT Prague saw a total of 652 players compete in the Eureka while 864 played in the EPT Prague main event.
Players can still win seats as satellites are still going on at PokerStars with 22 tournament qualifiers taking place each week for as little as €1.10 or 500 FPP.
EPT Cash Games
This years festival will be unique as its the first time the EPT will be operating all of the cash games through the festival.
Edgar Stuchly, President of the EPT had the following to say.
I am very excited that we are running the cash games for the first time in Prague. EPT-run cash games will mean that players will be able to benefit from the fast-paced action, wealth of experience and high standards associated with EPT dealers.
