Gamesys well positioned to reap the rewards of a fruitful partnership of Tropicana casino partnership
Back in November 2013, the Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, signed the legislature to launch a regulated online gambling market within the state of New Jersey.
Like many other resultant partnerships within the space, the privately-held UK online entertainment group, Gamesys were no different to combine forces with a land-based casino group. The current partnership ties them in with Tropicana AC in order to supply a household brand with a robust gaming platform and to open the potential future regulated US states with the reputation built from operating responsibly within New Jersey.
In-line with Gamesys’ strategy to grow their brand and global network partnering with reputable B2B clients, entrepreneurial CEO Noel Hayden is upbeat about the affiliation.
This fits in with both companies’ aims of increasing their brands’ appeal and reach around the globe.
The New Jersey gaming market alone is expecting market revenues of anywhere between $200m and $1.2bn in 2015, which represents a significant opportunity for both parties to seize a dominant market footing, leveraging the numerous PR and online marketing opportunities that are available.
Reputation to prove key to success on both side
Tropicana is owned by prominent international business magnate, Carl Icahn, renowned for his investment management fund Icahn Enterprises LP. He is known to not make decisions lightly regarding who he chooses to partner with, and this is a key credit for Gamesys.
Recognizing the UK company as an ideal partner catapults the central London-based company into the epicenter of the online gaming sphere, while the scope that could arise from this partnership is potentially unlimited.
With all the technological and reputable expertise that Gamesys can offer a brand like Tropicana, it means that the venture has secured the best possible platform to excel in the long-term. Gamesys retains the experience and the expertise, while Tropicana’s recognition permits a focus to attract a wider audience.
In the aftermath of the agreement, Tropicana’s CEO Tony Rodio said:
We are pleased to have Gamesys as Tropicana Atlantic City’s internet gaming partner and are excited to grow our gaming business and reach new customers. Gamesys has a proven track record in the UK of providing excellent products and customer service and we look forward to launching Tropicana’s internet gaming business with them.
It’s some testament, and one which is at the forefront of the minds of all associated with Gamesys, as they continue to make Tropicana the go-to online casino in New Jersey.
Encouraging figures for the state of New Jersey
The current uptake in the new online casino offering for the state of New Jersey is already very encouraging, with consumers experiencing a new thrills from an industry which has long served markets around the globe.
This is evidenced in fact on Valentine’s Day of this year when an unnamed man won a whopping $1.5m payout on a single hand playing a game called “Let it Ride”. This eclipsed a $1.3m winning total record from November 2014.
