The schedule for the 2012 Prague Poker Festival was just released and there are some great tournaments on tap. The festival will be hosted at the King’s Casino in the 5-Star Corinthia Hotel. Not all of the events have been finalized yet, but the festival will run from November 26th 2012 – December 16th 2012 and there is more than just poker to play this year in Prague.
Last year over 2500 poker players participated in the Prague Poker Festival and this year the festival organizers have estimated that at least 3000+ players will play in one or more poker tournaments at the festival in 2012. I’m going to post the highlight of the festival below so that you can plan your trip accordingly this year before it’s too late.

There are lots of poker rooms running satellites for the GSOP Live Main Event including Betfair Poker. There will be lots of side events at the 2012 Prague Poker Festival plus a new feature called the “Prague Mind Sports Festival”. It’s actually separate from the actual poker festival, but will run in the same hotel from December 1st – December 4th 2012 and should be lots of fun.
The Prague Mind Sports Festival will feature games like Backgammon, Bridge, Scrabble and Risk with big guaranteed prize pools up for grabs. The events are inexpensive and if you used to play these games when you were younger it’ll be fun. There will also be an E-Sports schedule that features games like Counter Strike played at the festival.
If you still haven’t planned your winter vacation yet the 2012 Prague Poker Festival in November and December is going to be a great place to be. Make sure you book your room early for the best deals and if you want to check out the rest of the details you can head over to the Prague Poker Festival website, which is updated regularly with the latest news.
With a WPT Main Event, EPT Main Event and a GSOP Live Main Event on the schedule your biggest problem will be finding time to play in all of the tournaments at the 2012 Prague Poker Festival. With 3000+ players expected in Prague you can bet there will be plenty of extra festivities as well depending upon how you want to spend your time.
