The big news in the poker world is of course the WPT Doyle Brunson Five Diamonds Poker Classic which kicked-off on Tuesday, but leading up to the $10k Main Event the WPT hosted a number of preliminary events, and it was some of the biggest names in tournament poker that came out on top.
In addition to the Five Diamonds the WPT also recently wrapped up a tournament in Mazagan, Morocco and in Montreal, Canada, as well as the WPT Prague starting on December 3rd! All-in-all it has been a very busy December for the WPT so far. Here is a look at the results from the Five Diamonds prelim events and some other tournaments from across the globe.
Sam Grafton wins GUKPT Grand Final in London
137 players registered for the £2,500 buy-in Grand Final of the GUKPT, and it was British poker pro Sam Grafton who came out on top:
