Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment released a press statement on their website this week stating that they were rolling out a new iPad poker app that players in quite a few European countries can download. Bwin Poker released an iPhone poker app last year and recently released an Android poker app, but they didn’t have an iPad poker app until now.
The new iPad poker app is based on the same software used for the iPhone poker app at Bwin Poker although the iPad app will have full resolution (1024 x 768). Bwin Poker hasn’t received an enormous amount of mobile poker players yet on their apps yet, but that’s because there were a lot of problems that needed to be worked out.
Bwin Poker’s iPad app has fixed a lot of the bugs that were causing players problems in the past. The graphics on the iPad poker app look excellent and the registration / cashier process is supposed to be improved now. Players that download the Bwin Poker iPad app will be able to access their entire Bwin Poker account from their mobile device.
Unfortunately, Bwin Poker only offers mobile poker in a few countries right now. Bwin Poker players in 19 countries can play on the mobile poker client including the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden and numerous other European countries. There are two ways to download the new Bwin Poker iPad app.
You can visit Bwin.com/iPadPoker/ on your iPad to be able to download the app directly from Bwin Poker for free. You can also download the app for free from the Apple iTunes Store as long as your country isn’t restricted. There have been more than a few bad reviews on the Bwin mobile app on the iOS, but they’ve been working out most of the old bugs that were persistent.
Playing poker on your iPad is great and the screen is definitely big enough. The touch screen makes playing on your iPad simple, as you simply click on the play you want to make (Check, Bet, Raise or Fold). The buttons are nice and big and there is no way to make a mistake and click the wrong button like you can on smaller mobile devices.
Bwin Poker has gradually entered the mobile poker market and they now have a native iPhone, iPad and Android poker app that they can offer their players. Mobile poker hasn’t been that popular at Bwin Poker yet, but once they can enter more markets I’m sure the mobile poker tables will become a lot busier.
