Borgata Poker which is part of the Party/Borgata Poker Network in New Jersey has finally released their iOS app. The app was developed by bwin.party entertainment Limited who is the technology partner of the Borgata for regulated online gambling in New Jersey.
PartyPoker launched their iOS app about a week ago which was noted in an article I wrote for OnlinePokerReport.
About the App
The app is the same exact one released by partypoker with only aesthetic differences. The aesthetic differences in my opinion actually make the Borgata one nicer as the graphics have a better look and feel when compared to the one released by partypoker.
How to use the app
When you load up the app players are given four options of which is to play for Real Money, Fastforward, Play Money or Preview. When you click on either Real Money or Fastforward it will ask you to login to your account or you can signup for a new account if you do not already have one.
It was noted in the OnlinePokerReport.com article that partypoker did not offer the ability to play for play money & the Borgata app is no different.
When I clicked on Play Money I was hit with the following message : Coming soon. Play money games are currently unavailable and will be added soon. There was no mention within the app of when play money will be added unfortunately.
